A little somethin' I've noticed....

Hello to everyone out there, I'm new to this community and am a die hard Rimmer/Lister shipper. I have been looking through all of the wonderful fanfic's everyone has posted, and I've noticed that nobody has really written anything about Listers pregnancy. The only fic I have found is on fanfiction.net by Justina Moriarty, called "Dr WatsonSmyth's Guide to a First Pregnancy" (go check it out, it is fantastic!) but nobody else has.

So, since I currently cannot for the life of me capture the essence of the Red Dwarf characters yet, I extend a challenge to anybody brave enough to tackle it. Write a full length fic, not a drabble, about what happens during and after the pregnancy, and for good measure try and throw in some Rimmer/Lister slashiness. Good luck to all who try (and I really hope somebody tries, please try).

Whoa man... You know, I can't say I haven't thought about it. I should, really, given that I'm writing him for (http://kahvi.livejournal.com/513913.html) [livejournal.com profile] fanfic100... It's just that I think it would be so majorily angsty that I'd have a fit. I don't do angst well if there isn't a happy ending, and obviously there wouldn't be, as he does end up giving them away.

Hm... I could... Meh. Yes. Anything is possible, I suppose. ;)

I thought about doing a fic about Lister's pregnancy, but then I found a problem: how would he carry them? He doesn't have the equipment.

I read that fic, in fact I have it bookmarked. It's funny, isn't it?

Oh right. I thought when Arlene said that, she meant those rules applied only in the parallel universe. I've spent ages trying to figure out where Lister would carry them...
