In Dimension Jump, the AU version of Lister, is his name really 'Spanners'? Or is that a witty nickname, given the fact that he's an engineer?

What is his name, then?

Yes, ma'am. And after he's been looking at the tape of *plot point involving Ace, but Ace is in the tape* all night, he goes to give Bongo the big solution to everything, and there's quite a lot in there about Bongo noticing that Spanners/Lister has an erection. Ace/Spanners in Backwards - too slash for words.

I took it as Bongo noticing that Spanners is up for Ace. Well, I see it as how Kat wrote it in that story she wrote... I'll have to dig it up. It's so good.
