Throwing myself in traffic

I'm new! Yes, original I know, but it's the truth. I'm very new to LJ, and this is my first community.(I've had bad luck with online people. Everyone is mean to me DX) I'm not new to Red Dwarf though. I started watching when I was five, thanks to my big brother :D! I only got into slash of any fandom about two years ago, but since then I've fallen in love. And Red Dwarf is so wonderful for slashing, don't you agree? XD

I tell everyone this though. I don't think I'm a fabulous writer. Not bad, just not great. Nothing compared to the wonderful writers on this community! I also am the worst drawer to ever have existed. I kid you not. So I I don't know how much I can contribute, but I'll try! And I can contribute enthusiasm!

I'm also looking for someone willing to beta for me, as I don't have a Red Dwarf beta. If anyone could, I'd be eternally grateful!

Anyway, I'll stop boring you and wasting your time :D!

We're generally a very good-natured bunch. And yay enthusiasm! That's always good. There are several people who beta here, though your best bet is getting someone on a fic-by-fic basis. I'd do it, but I'm busy with another story right now. I would love to see your stories though!

I'd ask my friend who betas the rest of my junk, but she's only seen the first three seasons. And my Grandma (who is an avid Red Dwarf lover) is not into slash, so that's why I need a beta. Cuz mah spakeing english r n0t gewd. XD

Oh, your language skills seem far better than the average netizen. Still betaing is always good. I should have my own stories betaed more often, but I'm too impatient. :p

I'm good with betaing other peoples stories, but it's like, when it's your own, you know what you're saying so you don't see mistakes as easily.

My mom is a published author and she had like ten people edit her story. Mostly my Grandma (Grandma was an english teacher!)

Growing up with English freaks makes you worry about your writing being perfect! XD

My family is pretty awesome. I luv them a lot. My mom is a great writer, and my Grandma is fun to hang with, and totally the coolest Grandma evah! And my big brother Eric has a great imagination (if only he wrote more!) and is fun to hang with. Plus, I get an awesome sister-in-law from him, now!

I'm rambling. *shuts up*
