So, since this is my comm and I am your evil overlord want to, I'm going to start reposting all my Red Dwarf fan fiction (published previously under the penname Dervla Nightshade, for those who might remember me) slowly but surely. I'm hoping that re-reading will get me writing in the fandom again, and also that y'all will kick my ass into gear with the Athenaeum - RDSS members from way back will remember that I started designing an archive for Red Dwarf fan fiction a long time ago before I fell off the face of the planet. So, yeah.

This is another conversation-with-lady_draco-and-kahvi fic. It started life as a squicky crack pairing for humor, but the device for making it possible took over the fic, and it turned into something completely different. This is an AU replaying of DNA - one where Rimmer doesn't give up on the dandruff.
It was also partly inspired by the IV commentary.
Warnings for some disgustingness and some sappiness. Spoilers for DNA.

Just a short one that I whipped up for an Easter treat. Nearly no smut, although perhaps hints of future smut (I promise nothing, however). Forgive me; I'm out of practice with RD, having written nothing except Forty Days since December 2004.
