Title: Boy Officers and Girl Officers
Pairings: Lister x Kochanski, mild Lister x Rimmer (if you squint)
Rating: PG
Summary: Drabble. Rimmer and Lister have an argument about Kochanski. Probably set during Blue. I was less worried about writing a story and more concerned with trying to get their voices right. Please tell me what you think.

Red Dwarf Homage on Stargate Atlantis?

The season finale of Stargate Atlantis, which aired tonight in the United States, had many fans connecting the dots between McKay and Sheppard and coming up, surprisingly, with Rimmer and Lister when ( spoilers happened. )

The part that amuses me the most is that it brings to light more parallels between the pairings. There is, of course, the love/hate relationships (though Rimmer/Lister, in canon, tends more toward the hate side than McKay/Sheppard) but more specifically, there is the fact that McShep is arguably the most popular pairing in the SGA fandom, and R/L is arguably the most popular pairing in RD fandom.

I can't help wondering if the Stargate writers were aware it's our anniversary. :)
