 My first Red Dwarf fic. Based on the book universe, after Backwards. I'm new to the community, but far from new to the fandom.

An AU thought.

So what if Rimmer, having gone off to be Ace, happened to turn up in a dimension where Red Dwarf exists as a TV show, and watches Series VII to find out how the others are managing without him, and sees 'Blue'?

The Rimmer Experience aside, if he had feelings for Lister, might that not send him in search of his own home dimension again?

Just throwing this one out there in case anyone wants to pick it up. I have so many plot bunnies at the moment ([livejournal.com profile] chrisscorkscrew has been slipping them carrot-flavoured body paint) and I thought I'd share.
