I'm not sure if anyone's done this but I was just wondering if someone’s done a RD version of Beauty and the Beast paring Lister /Rimmer (Lister as Belle and Rimmer as the Beast), yeah I know sounds a little crazy, I know but it could work lol.

Summary: Rimmer tells his niece the story of how he realized Lister was the one for him. (Set in my own AU following Machine in the Ghost; can be read as a standalone, though.)

A/N: OMG. diminua was inspired to write a fic based on this, Off and On the Shelf Again. Her Lister is adorable and the interaction with Rimmer is so canonical. Go read!
