How do you post a story after a link, if you know what I mean? I'm hopelessly incompetent in the area of LiveJournal.

Do you mean a lj-cut?

Just remove the stars.

So . . .You put the title of the story where you have "blah"? Or the text of the story?

You put the title in the "blah" part. You put the story after the cut.

How?

Copy + paste. Or just type it out...

So(sorry for my idiocy) I should put the code you provided, and then, directly after the code, paste the text of the story?

Yep! In between the two different codes. Where I put "your story here"

And put <*/lj-cut> after your story to close the tag (without the star)

Shit, I didn't notice LJ ate that bit of the code. Yeah, that's right.
