Two poems (Rimmer/Lister)

I've been too exhausted to write lately, but these poems just happened. I'm not one of nature's poets, but smaych (who is a proper poet) told me they were OK to share. So here they are. They're Rimmer/Lister, and quite PG, both of them.



This is the Ocean

This is the ocean
Black as sea,
and you and me
floating together
Endlessly

This is the desert,
cold and grey
nowhere to stray
living together
every day

This is a lifetime
yours and mine
so grand, so fine
rotting together
in decline

This is forever
on and on
it weighs a ton
wrapped around me
all alone

This is the ocean
far away
come here, come play
white suit on horseback
Stay



Fiji

Cool air
brushing against my cheek
White water,
waves, the foam like
flocks of sheep

Disgusting

I sigh, closing my eyes
against the breeze
and feel the
warmth
between my legs;
warm, pulsing animal heat

I shiver
and don't turn my head

avoiding the sunshine
clear sky

and you
