I know what you mean, Lister/Rimmer is the only pairing that feels *right*. But once in a while, I imagine, Lister and Cat would have a questioning moment -- they are the only two tangible, living things on the ship (for most of the series).
Bleh! Can't believe I just said that.
Lister/Rimmer is the only true pairing.
...I'm certain.
