Christmas fic exchange?

As far as I can tell (I'll be the first to admit that I'm new to this fandom), Red Dwarf doesn't seem to have a fandom specific fic exchange, but rather, from what I've seen, people choose to take part in Yuletide. I've been thinking about it myself, but, putting aside the fact that it confuses me greatly, I'd personally rather take part in something specifically made for this fandom, and, as such, was wondering if it would be worth me putting something together. Ergo, I come bearing a poll to try and gauge potential interest. Please let me know what you think. Any comments/discussion on the subject are also heartily encouraged :)

Hehe, yeah, I was only 4 when Red Dwarf originally aired, so I can't remember a time when I didn't watch Red Dwarf.

As for the fic exchange, the basic idea is that you request a fic that you'd like to see written, and when all the requests are in the mods will match each participant up with a fic they think they'd be suited to write so that, by the end of it, everyone will have written a fic for someone and received a fic from someone else. Make sense?

When I was little I went to a fancy dress party as Lister with the leather jacket and fingerless gloves and everything. I seem to remember dreadlocks being made out of wool or something.

I've loved RD since I was about 5 before I could even understand what was going on. I watched it on VHS because I was born in '92 so it was kinda no around in the states any other way! XD I love my bro for getting me into it!
