Summary: Rimmer feels warm, but warm in the way that a television set is when you put your hand on it. He’s warm like energy and it’s very different from the heat of another human being. Touching him makes Lister’s fillings ache and his hairs lift and prickle with static.

That was absolutely amazing. The hard-light drive description is inspired, and how wonderfully dark it all is. It's good to see writers explore the darker side of Red Dwarf - what Terry Pratchett refers to as "tragic relief".

I hope you've written/will write more in this fandom, because I would love to read it.

Thank you! I'm glad the darkness of it all was not off-putting and that you liked the part about Rimmer's hard light. Because I find it hard to believe that it wouldn't feel like that rather than human skin or clothing - glad I'm not the only one!

This is my first Red Dwarf fic, I'm not sure if I'll write more (I'm not even sure where this one came from really!) but I hope so as I loved writing it. And thank you again for your lovely comments!
