Update! Danny confirms live audience!

Some excerpts from DJJ:

"Yeah, studio audience. We’ve gone back to our original format, for obvious reasons.

"Everyone missed the studio audience bit, because I do hate when people said ‘why don’t they put canned laughter on the show?’ and I’d
say ‘we never put canned laughter on anyway’. Whatever laughs were on Red Dwarf came from the audience that were in there that night."

"No, we haven’t had any scripts but we’ve got preliminary readings coming for any changes - ‘speak now or forever hold your piece’ time!
There’s never been any question about the scripts.

He also confirmed on Twitter two weeks ago that he's signed the contract for Red Dwarf- it's officially official!!!!

I'm as pleased as everyone else, but just a note of caution - when Craig gave that interview where he said the sets were being built, the official site denied it.

Of course, that was a month ago and GNP are probably just being ultra-cautious, but the point is, until it's on the official site, it's not considered "official". Even if one of the stars says it.

Sorry to be a Debbie Downer; I just thought you all should know. Danny's probably right about the audience anyway.

Joe, Cobra, Harry Potter, Ron Wesley, Hermione whateverherlastnamewas, Percy Wesley, Mr. Wesley, Draco Malfoy, the Ghost Busters, Ghostbusters, Sitting Ducks, Pingu, The A Team, The Village People, the people in the village of Bright Moon, Punky Brewster, Rainbow Bright, Brave Star, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Jem got high, and how Listy convinced Rimmsy to watch it with him in bed! A sensible answer: the same as every other time this has been asked. If the show does get a studio audience, and if that audience is to be composed of fans/members of the public, then the front page of the site will carry news of who's organising it and how to contact them.
