Queer Fest 2012!

queer_fest is open for prompt claiming for 2012. For those of you who don't know what it is, Queer Fest is a fic fest where the focus is on some aspect of at least one character's LGBTIQA (etc.) identity. There are some fantastic Red Dwarf prompts up (if the prompters were from here, thank you, I didn't see who did what prompts but I can guess), and as well as those there are some really great prompts in the 'Any' section that could apply to RD. The minimum word count is 1,000 words, so it's nice and low, and if you write more than that, then so much the better.

I strongly encourage people to at least go and have a look at the community even if you don't sign up, because it might spark some ideas for stories even if you don't feel like you can meet the deadline (stories are to be posted between May 1st and June 16th. For some reason I am doing three of them on top of two Big Bangs. Go figure.). There aren't a million RD prompts like there are a million Sherlock prompts, but up to three people can claim each prompt, and it would be super awesome to see how different people interpreted the same prompt!
