Chris Barrie's Hair

Please tell me that I am not the only person obsessed with Chris Barrie's hair? I just came across this behind-the-scenes photo from series X rehearsals and I am now distracted.



I lament the fact that he seems to dislike his curls so much that he keeps his hair cropped so short all the time. Doesn't he know what that hair DOES to us?

Anyone else have any favorite pictures of Chris's hair that they'd like to share? For inspiration? ;)

Can't access pics atm but no, you're very definitely not. Not me so much - although the curls have grown on me a lot - but I'm more into Craig. But I did write a little ficlet about Rimmer and Lister's mutual admiration of each other's locks. Hair porn in this fandom is almost its own category. ;)

You're not the only one! I've said this before, but one of my greatest wishes for Series XI+ is for Rimmer to let his hair be free as a part of his newfound identity.

I love both of the boys, but Chris's hair just DOES something to me. I think with Craig it's his smile. Those squinty eyes and those cheeks...

I was watching the opening episode to series VI the other day, and I think that's when Craig was at his most adorable for me. Probably something to do with how closely his hair was buzzed on the sides during that series. He just looks scrumptious.

Oh, with Craig it's definitely his eyes and smile. He just exudes charisma. :) I find him almost equally attractive as the baby-faced boy of Series 2 and the more mature (physically at least!) look of Series VII.

I do like his hair. But I'm far more distracted by the presence of Mark in that photo with him, and the happy feelings they both give me. If there's another series, Howard needs to show up again.

Agreed. Mark really owned that part and added so much to "Trojan", plus we fic writers now have a new character to work with. I'd love to see him show up again.

Failing that, I'd love to see Mark at DJ. :)

Funny, Mark is cute and all, and he did well playing another Rimmer, but he doesn't ping my buttons like Craig and Chris do. I think it's the whole dynamic between the Lister and Rimmer characters that gets my mojo going. Without that, I just sort of shrug and move on. :)

I can't speak for Vero, but although I can see objectively that Mark's fairly good looking, that's not what appeals to me about his character; it's how he interacts with Rimmer.

I know it might sound odd that I don't fancy him given the fairly explicit fic I starred him in, but tbh that was still all about Lister and Rimmer, specifically the idea that "FSOS" Lister is so strongly attracted to Rimmer that he unknowingly finds his brother attractive too.

Sorry for going off the topic of Chris's hair, but I know several posters here have extensive collections of Chris pics and I'm sure they'll oblige soon. ;)

This may be hard to see, but it's Chris in costume, but with his natural hair. MROWR. I've loved the curls for quite awhile, and am getting more excited because he's letting the hair stay on the longer (for him) side the latter half of this year.
