Wahhhh! Rimmer! Lister! *giggles* That was sad ... though, with the knowledge of the shagging and all happy things, I'm not so sad. The two of them are absolutely hopeless. Hehe. =)

The room is roadstergal's invention, which just captured my heart so totally that I want to steal it and include it everywhere. I think it just speaks volumes.

The room is just a physical manifestation of how I felt about his state of mind in VI, as seen most blatantly at the beginning of Out Of Time. I think that's one of the reasons I love VI so much; it's swimming in angst and UST, and I feel that if it would snap in just the right way, it would be love. In my slashy mind, that's what happened that lead to the closeness in the Boys seen in Stoke. Damn Stoke ending!

*blush* Thanks! And yes, Lister is Da Man for the make-up sex. Well, he's the man for the forthrightness and the try-to-do-the-right thing in general.

I'm not exactly sure why, but I really felt Rimmer when writing this one more than I've felt him in any other sexfic. So to speak. Well, you be the judge of that, now and Part II.

I think it's due to kahvi's scenario; it's very Boys, and it was very well laid out.

Thank you! This has been in my mind for a while, so I've had time to think it over. And I should add that I was mostly kidding about the sex bit; quite honestly I thought the sex scene was all Rimmer's in the one. Lister was just there for the ride. But man, what a ride! Ahem, sorry; we're getting ahead of ourselves. ;)

Favorite bits:
Glare 754 - eyes narrowed, lips slightly sucked in and leveled to a perfect horizontal, forehead furrowed, neck muscles tense. It was a doozy, and he kept it tucked away and polished for special occasions

Sulking, now? What was he; a menopausal woman?

He had sod-all planned this evening, but he reserved the right to do sod-all without disruptions of a Listery nature.

And I loved the whole imagery of Rimmer's room. So sad too.

Poor Rimsy! And poor Listy too, though really, he should have thought better of it. What does it matter what captain U-bend thinks anyway? I really don't like Kryten when he's beeing too mean to Rimmer.

Now you two had better go away and make it all better!

Well, Rimmer was a dorkwad, too, for not just letting Lister know what he wanted. Lister's trying to do what he thinks is right. If he sees a way to make everyone satisfied, including Kryten, he'll take it - but Rimmer is very good at taking it all wrong!
