I went to nodnoL!

Where I came across this neat little store that sold autographed Red Dwarf & Doctor Who merch. So I bought a mini poster signed by Chris Barrie.

But the funniest thing was in Harrods. Apparently there's a rather interesting brand of refridgerator.

But wait, it comes in striped!:

Heh, a friend of mine went to Spain and sent me a pic of a SMEG refrigerator. I was amused. :) If you watch Curse of the Were-Rabbit, Gromit has a SMUG fridge (and works with Botch tools).

Nice find on the poster!

I was so worried that Wallace and Gromit wouldn't make the transition to film well - but I loved that movie to teeny tiny pieces. The pictures in the opening credits, for cryin' in the night!

I've heard that smeg is actually from smegma, nad I've also heard that the creators have denied that. But it makes a lot of sense to me.

We have them over here - it's not just fridges; they have dishwashers and other stuff too. I tried to ingratiatingly-cute-look my way into getting the boyfriend to agree to get one. No such luck!

I've heard they're really excellent fridges. I love the latch design, and would be all over a great fridge that looked like that. They are fecking expensive, though!

Yeah, true dat. The dishwasher wasn't that bad though. I think he refused out of principle. :p
