Fic: Hung. PG.

Another fic in the Forwards arc. Spoilers for the book Backwards. Links to the previous fics in this one.

You're breathing too loudly.

Crit is always welcome.

Yay! I've been waiting for the "morning after" fic. Lovely. But it just leaves me wanting more.
Caffeinated beer? I think you should market that.

I had to catch up from Engines pt 1, but I'm glad I did (I am so slack, and I just wrote 'I am so slash', which proves that I am also tired).

LOVE YOUR WORK, BABY.

fuck I'm tired

I really do think this is a fantastic fic, and I was thinking of attempting to write a serious post-Backwards RD novel and try to get it published, but I don't think I could do it now without Lister and Rimmer having sex in it.

oh look, I was temporarilililily coherent

no, i'm not drunk, just REALLY tired

You know, I like the title of this. ;)

Well, the first time around, that had been every birthday from puberty to the death of the human race
Yes indeedy.

freeing the other to drop the small cup of espresso into the stein of lager, and to upend the curry paste over his oatmeal.
Perfect Lister-breakfast, and so casually done.

I adored the self-destruct button/boot thing. Some great Holly there too.

You know, when I first read this, I went "aaaw... They'll be happy now!" *sigh* You'd think I know better by now. But yes, even having read the next one, I do like the ending here. Very comfortable, the boys being the boys, happy (and not) in their way.

Also; the backstory of this Rimmer and his Lister fascinates me. I do think he would be happier with this Lister, because there seemed to be something... I dunno... Lacking with the one he had. But yes, more on that as this series progresses, I suppose. :)

Ah yes, that's it. They can be equals. Heh, even as I write that I can imagine Rimmer's reaction to such an idea. Preposterous!
