Heh, thanks. But it's all in the original material - when I read Backwards and got to the end, all I could think of was just that. It'd be horrible even if they weren't lovers.

Guh... Poor Rimmer. *hugs him* He has enough angst for at least 10 well adjusted people. I hope this series will eventually meander (I love that word) towards something happier for him.

Still, though - Rimmer can now actually think, to an extent, that he felt something vaguely affectionate (even if it's not the l-word) for the old Lister, and something distinct but similar for the new one. For him, it's improvement!

Just dropping by to give this Rimmer a hug I know he doesn't want. But damn... I know he'll come around, because Lister never gives up, but oh, the poor thing. :(

The scene with Lister crawling into the bunk was so tender and heart-breaking, very lovely. Rimmer isn't ready yet, but he's getting there, isn't he? I think this shows that.

And oh, the horror of BTL addiction. *shudders* That's pure Rob Grant right there. Well done.
