Thankee! Ja, that bothered me about Meltdown, too! The 'good' driods would have been wiped out as things were going no matter what...

I kinda think Lister did feel bad about that, later. He just had these odd spells of lassitude in VII and VIII, like he was missing something... had betrayed some part of himself he cared about (Back To Reality?).

Oh, yes, I do like Last Human-Kochanski. :D
