I loved the way roadstergal described it in her BTR stories, so it was lovely to be able to use it here. Very well imagined, I thought, in a scarily realistic way. As Rimmer Billy points out, it makes too much sense.

Gah, this fic continues being deliciously weird and disturbing. The, er, Doyleverse is so shocking with its almost complete lack of empathy and strange fixation for State and citizenship.

What are you talking about; there's lots of empathy! The State is saddened whenever one of its Citizens have lost their way. That's why it Rehabilitates them for their own good; so they can be happy and well-adjusted again! ;)

I love how Jake is still obsessed of taking care of er... Sebastian (and dislike Billy) in a Krytenesqe sort of way.
And that reality (non-reality damn it!) brr... Rehabilitation *shudder* God damned 1984 with raffle prizes! Eerie.
