Hang on. Why is Rimmer a hologram? Didn't holoRimmer go off to be Ace? Is he coming back to be smeghead again? I remember Rimmer kneeing death and running away, so I always thought he survived. Although, personally, I prefer the deleted ending, where the crew take Red Dwarf on a runner leaving the officers behind in their escape ship.
