The Omni-zone series

Okay so some of you miiiight remember this massive cracky RDSS crossover that me and a bunch of RDSSers wrote back in the early-mid 2000s. I've put it up on AO3 as a piece of our fandom's history, but if anyone objects to this (not just because my writing is shit, mind you, but like if you no longer want to be in the biggest Mary Sue crackfic of all time), please for the love of all the gods tell me and I will take it right back down.

OKAY. That aside, I did notice something when I was roaming the past, and that is that so bloody many of us wrote Mary Sues (fine, fine, original characters, but I know mine at least was too blatant to be anything but a Sue) who hooked up with Rimmer. Which brings me to the following poll:

I would be dropping my panties for Rimmer so fast, they would burts in flames. I'd also try it out with Cat and Ace - but only because I'm curious.

Definitely Deb Lister. But now I come to think of it, maybe Arlene Rimmer too. When I thought of what "other" might mean the first thing that sprang to mind was Hudzen... I don't know what that says about me.

Poll results say that no-one wants Captain Hollister. Ace Rimmer, on the other hand... what a guy.
