Yes, it's another one of THOSE drabbles...
Title: Smudged
Summary: In which Lister finds something very interesting out about the Cat.
Rating: PG
Lister has been found in many awkward positions in his life, but to be lying on his bunk, held there by a pair of slim hands, is both pleasant and somewhat intimidating. Gazing up into Cat’s dark eyes, his ears registering the sounds of the feline’s somewhat hurried breathing, he notices something strange. A black mark, like a smudge, trailing from Cat’s lashes and onto his cheek.
Lister blinks, realizing with a start what he’s looking at before briefly thinking it over and grinning widely at his partner, who doesn’t seem to have noticed the reason why he’s staring.
“I had no idea you wore eyeliner,” the human whispers, winking.
Fin.

j/k. I loved it! Suddenly, that whole Catster thing… started to make sense! I think they are a funny couple, as R/L as kinda dramatic.
There’s just one thing I can do now, read the rest of the L/C fics…

And I'm glad you like the fic - the basic plotbunny came to me last night while I was in bed and it mostly consisted of: 'Cat Lister eyeliner yeeeeeeeeeessssssss!' I'm pretty sure he wears it, especially in Series 5 and 6.
