Gazpacho soup day

yep I think this is Red Dwarf related *nods*

My friend and I are down in Somerset for this week, today we where walking around a supermarket and I spotted this
I've never seen it around were I live (Midlands, Oakham), anyway this made me laugh and I had to post it.

Whenever my mother makes gazpacho, I always think of that episode :)

it's very good. It's like a cold vegetable soup. It tastes much better when the veggies are cut rather than made into a puree. And you have to eat it really cold.

I can imagine poor Rimmer was served lukewarm soup which could confuse anyone if you've never had it before. Fresh out the fridge is the way to serve it!

I keep thinking I'm going to have to make that sometime to try it.

Do you know, this is the main fact I remember from when I was first watching RD about 15 years ago. I have never forgotten it, and I've even worked the reference into a couple of short stories in non-RD things. Thank you, Rimmer, for ensuring I will never make a fool of myself THIS way if I go to a fancy dinner party!

Maybe cos it's a seasonal soup you haven't seen it about in the Co-op? You shall have to ask, nay, DEMAND that they start selling it! hehe.

I just love that it says "Tastes great hot or cold"!
