I was just about to mention this. Sadly I can't afford to go twice in a fortnight (it would involve an overnight stay), especially without a guaranteed ticket. Maybe, just maybe, I might try to go again in January. Although part of me thinks that's just being greedy. ;)

Craig still had flu on Wednesday; I hope he's better tomorrow.

One thing I wanted to know, sort of OT, is are they filming the episodes in order, or do you know?

I honestly don't know, and neither did the G&T crowd. But judging by previous series where they changed the running order for reasons from quality of storyline to the first Gulf War, I'd imagine not.

The episode I saw would make a good opener, though. :)

They recorded episode 3 last night for some reason. Hmm....

Poor guy! I know Bobby and Danny have barely mentioned Craig in their tweets, so maybe it's a Lister-light episode?

I would have told you as soon as he posted, but obviously there's no way you could get to the UK in time. Plus someone else had already claimed it.

No, no, that's okay. I'm halfway planning my trip to the UK for Jan 4-16 (that's two Fridays covered). Either it's positive thinking or insanity, or possibly both. I'll try to win tickets assuming TORDFC still offers them the week before filming, and I'm still on the "official" waiting list.

Seriously, I'm going next week to talk to the AAA travel group and see if they can find better airline rates and what would be involved in getting B&B/hotel, train tickets to Liverpool and Cardiff, etc, etc. I've been spending my lunch hour (and a few extra) looking up things I didn't get to do on my first and only trip to England in 1999. If I get a ticket, I intend to go all out and fully enjoy myself. I'll hit Doctor Who, Torchwood, Red Dwarf and the Beatles all in one trip!!

If I don't get a ticket, then I'll console myself with new episodes of Sherlock. :)

I went into debt for 10 years to do my traveling (only twice outside the US, though). I've just this past year paid off the credit card, and fear I'll be running it up again. Bad, bad me!

However, SHERLOCK! Such a clever, brilliant show. No wonder I like it; I've been spoilt by the writing on Red Dwarf :-) I think I can hold off until May. I have plenty of stuff still in my Netflix queue, not to mention the stuff I got for Christmas that I have to watch. January flies by, and February is short, it's in March that things slow down for me. I may break then.

I'm actually researching all my family, and it looks like my main family may have come over from England in the mid-1600s, possibly 1660. It depends on who you believe, though :) The rest are German, Swiss, and unknown. It's close enough, right?

Mark Gatiss is doing a countdown to Sherlock on Twitter. I'm resisting the trailers for now, because I want to hold onto the suspense.

Lol. I should work on those amvs I have written out in my notebook. The ones I claimed dibs on ages ago.
