for those already in the UK: potential tix tomorrow

on Twitter sayeth thus:
If we have some no-shows tomorrow I'll try and tweet to say first come first served.

And a pair of tickets were offered up as someone couldn't go tomorrow, but those are long gone. Hope springs eternal I'll still be able to go!

I'm an Englishwoman trapped in an American's body :-) You and me both! I don't even have any ancestry in the UK. Apparently they're my Godparent nation. Who tries to spoil me rotten with good TV comedies and lovely writers and hawtprettyboi actors and sensible movies.

Clearly I'm thoroughly spoiled rotten then.

I don't even have any ancestry in the UK.

I'm actually researching all my family, and it looks like my main family may have come over from England in the mid-1600s, possibly 1660. It depends on who you believe, though :) The rest are German, Swiss, and unknown. It's close enough, right?

Mark Gatiss is doing a countdown to Sherlock on Twitter. I'm resisting the trailers for now, because I want to hold onto the suspense.

*sighs happily* After wrestling with the computer for 4 days, it's finally burning DVDs properly. Smegging smegger. Now to determine which RD vid to start with; the one I just thought of, or the one that's plagued me since 1997. *ponders with finger against her lips*

Mine are all German (mom's side), French, and Lithuanian (dad's side).

I haven't managed to trick the BBC into thinking I'm in Britain. I'm thinking of giving up for now and hoping some lovely sod will record and youtube post it. So I can spaz properly.

Lol. I should work on those amvs I have written out in my notebook. The ones I claimed dibs on ages ago.
of course, if I have time to work on them, then I should be working on my class projects...
