Spoilers (of the permitted kind) are trickling through about tonight's recording: Steven Wickham (Lister's GELF bride) was in it in some capacity - he Tweeted this himself. Andrew Ellard wrote something about the ending not being shown to the audience as it hadn't been filmed?!

Last but not least, this community has been mentioned on Twitter! In a discussion with Andrew about the need for a new, more independent fan site, TOS Administrator Seb Patrick Tweeted this: "I think the most active creative output seems to come from the slash fiction LJ community!". :)

Whilst I agree with not mentioning fanfic in front of those connected with the shows, it's not as though we've actually done so. We've done nothing to draw attention to ourselves really; all these links and mentions have come from outside people.

I find it hard to believe that Grant Naylor would actually try to close us down; surely that would only be counter-productive and lose them fans.

Being shut down isn't something I worry about - we're not doing anything remotely illegal here, at least not by the laws of my country (that's the only one I can speak for - I don't know about Mother Russia, land of LiveJournal, LOL). For me, it's just a matter of not wanting to draw Sauron's eye any more than I have to, to employ an extreme analogy. ;-)
