There is seriously something awesome going on in Doug Naylor's head and I wish I could be in it right now. Just so I could know what is going on.

. The plot contains big consequences for one character in particular and a revelation that could prove to be controversial, and it’s certainly something I wasn’t sure about. Then I saw where it was going, and how it leads up to genuinely one of the best end lines Red Dwarf has ever had.

I'm at a loss. Utterly speechless. I can't think of anything other then stuff we've all rehashed. *Bad Fan. Goes and sits in the corner.*

Maybe one of the guest characters at the start is Jim or Bexley? Possibly played by Craig's oldest son, who's about the age he was in Season 1?

It sounded more like it might have been a flashback, though. I think it might be more like revealing that Rimmer didn't cause the accident that killed everybody. Maybe he was a scapegoat.

Serious question (sorry to spoil the fun). ;) With language like that, plus the hints of language and "offensive" themes we've had from other reports, do you think the DVD might end up with a "15" certificate?

Here in the UK, if it's a 'one-off' it can usually get by as a 12 certificate. But I'm not sure if we simply saw the 'full version' and the joke is to have it bleeped or cut off at 'we're fu-'

How are they going to get that past the censors? Sure Cat said "Shit" in one episode and But here in the US that would be totally bleeped. They make them cut normal stuff out of shows 'cause it's not OK for kids to see. The only place you can get by with Fuck on TV over here is Premium channels, HBO and the like.

Maybe the cast fall through a timehole, wind up on Earth in the early 80s and meet a young impressionist called Chris Barrie? :p I've seen a photo of him from that time dressed a little like that.
