just a thought on the upcoming ahem "holiday"

Seeing as I'm about as single as Rimmer *cough*, I thought it might be nice if we had a sort of writing challenge for Valentine's Day. It doesn't have to be hearts and roses, full-on love fest. It doesn't even have to be nice, requited, or even slash (gasp, I know). I wanted to suggest no pairings of any incarnation of Rimmer/Lister to get us to think about other pairings, but I'm actually drawing a blank on who I'd want to see together, even if it's just longing glances as they left the room. I keep shoving Kryten/Lister out of my head, despite the picture I found...that I can't find now. I found this though:

Most disturbing. I put into Google Images search "Lister kiss Kryten" because I have the image downloaded but wanted to link to it, but it showed me more Kryten/Rimmer images! ACK!!




Consider it an homage to "Camille."

As long as everyone understands that I will not be sending anything to anyone, as per the rules of The Love Celibates prevents me. But I also believe there might be a Space Corp directive against it.

Space Corps Directive 190003845762004 says that no candy, flowers, or cards are to be exchanged between people trapped on a small ship to planet vessel, even if there are only five persons on board.

I would like to see a new jacket for older Rimmer that is a cross between this one and the one in BTE - the high collar and crossover buttoning, but short and fitted. I love the new fabric glimpses we've gotten, and think it could work with that kind of design too.

Lister kissing Kryten...what?! :P I'm afraid I love the commrodere of the boys more than any slash (besides Rimmer/Lister), so I can't think of any pairings, either. Nirvanah and Rimmer meeting again would be amazing, though. <3
