Tweet from Doug

This isn't slashy - I apologise - but there is an interesting tweet from Doug saying Craig is pondering doing some stand-up.  Obviously this would be great if it happened but I can't see him having the time.  As far as I can tell the man barely sleeps as it is!  Thoughts anyone?

It certainly seems Craig already has his plate full, with Corrie, his Funk & Soul Show on 6Music and DJ'ing across the country. I suppose he could combine doing standup with his DJ set! I know Craig likes to keep himself busy :)

I was like that before hypothyroidism and apnea conspired to cut my energy level; I worked a job, wrote for several publications weekly, exercised almost daily, wrote fiction, and did the usual errand running and such you do as a single, for several years running. I think I slept like 4 hours a night. College was about the same. Some people can keep that up for a long time; some, like me, can't.

I remember an interview where he said being busy is good for him as otherwise he gets into trouble. He's clearly taken that to heart with his current schedule, but surely there must come a time when he needs a break? It would be nice if this happens, but not at the expense of his health.

I always figured he stayed busy because professional arch nemesis Mr. Barrie had jam-packed work too. ;-)

As much as I love the slashie, with the whole revival of the show, I tend to make this my one stop for everything Dwarf. :P

And I can see Craig doing stand-up. I saw Hattie doing it once and wasn't that impressed ( :( ) but I think Craig can do it.
