Help wanted!

So I have this great framing device for a fic. Got it all down from beginning to end, and the basic nature of the story within. But the thing is, I'm stumped for details. In short, I need some help from you strapping young RD slashers! This is your chance to get... Erm... Bits of a story... Written about just what you like! Without having to write it yourself, natch.

In short, I need ideas for a storyline that:

- Is Rimmer/Lister
- Ends with the two of them hooking up in some way
- Preferably involves first-time-sex/kiss/whatever, but not nessecarily

And I need WILD ideas; the more the merrier. Even just one-word prompts. I'd really apreciate it! :D

EDIT: I've just decided, to make it more fun and challenging for myself, that I will include every single suggestion posted here. Even if they contradict one another. I'll just have to make it work. ;)

That's a great idea! But... Um... How? I mean, I could probably come up with quite a few ideas, but I'm curious what your original idea was. :)

Well, I hadn't gotten to the details yet. ;) But I was thinking of a planet that had recently experienced some horrible disaster, wiping out most of the population, and how miserable it would be for the survivors, knowing how much dental work lay in their future in order to rebuild their species again.

Sort of the counterpart to those fics where the population dies out, and the men who are charged with recreating the population give the idea a big "Woohoo!" (E.g., the end of Dr. Strangelove.)

Now the bunnies are telling me that Rimmer is offered a chance to expand the population of this poor male-depleted planet, aka the offer of the Psirens to the Cat, and takes the offer eagerly, thinking there's a lot of sex involved, only to find that there's a few fillings and a root canal involved... I'd have trouble making that really fit a R-L plot, though!

Mine are tolerable, and I dislike dentistry enough to just be happy with them as they are. If you can make this bunny work, I'm a-gonna hop around in delight!
