Recommendations for unhappy ending story?

I'm in a mood. I want to read an L/R story where there isn't a happy ending. Does such a thing exist?

There's tsukinobun's Concession (http://reddwarfslash.livejournal.com/293792.html), which is based around BTE, and which makes me cry every time.

I don't have access to my bookmarks at the moment, or I'd have more.

There are harrowing ones with happy endings though.

I think horselizard has a couple I would not term "happy" per se. You can also find some of roadstergal's stories on her site at http://www.roadstergal.info/misc/rd.htm that aren't "happy" although I can't tell you which specific ones right off the top of my head ...
