This is so sweet and poignant - my heart ached for Rimmer. Very good idea to do this kind of "snippet" fic if you feel you're not quite done with a story. :)

Thanks! Heartache was the main intended effect :)...it does seem like I do my best emotional writing when I'm making Rimmer cry. I don't know what that says about me as a person.
