Chris Barrie In Bed

Just in case any of you might have missed this because it's the first time I've come across it. Holy smeg. :-O

The interviewer is absolutely rubbish (who keeps talking about OTHER people they'd like to have in bed when CHRIS BARRIE IS RIGHT THERE?!?) but oh my goodness is he adorable in this. Just lovely to see him in that "reclining in a bed" posture, pulling the covers up over himself. Ooh la la.

I have never wished I could leap through my computer screen more so I could push that silly twit out of that bed and climb in myself.

Also I wonder if he had a cold when he filmed this because his normal speaking voice sounds quite a bit deeper than usual.

Please excuse me while I take several cold showers.

To be fair, this was (I think) before Red Dwarf, although I assume it had been filmed or filming (since Craig is mentioned somewhere in there). Chris' career at that point was 99% impressions.

Thanks for posting this; I hadn't seen it before. :)

Holy smeg - I'm more into Craig, but the way he looks up at her at the start! Actually I can't help wondering if she kept going on about other people to stop herself from jumping him! *Must stay professional, must stay professional*... ;)

Does this mean Craig did one of these? *Rushes to YT*

Really, it's a ridiculous interview setup; I'm not sure what kind of serious questioning was expected from her. I'm fairly sure Cronkite never joined anyone in bed for a profile.

She might've been flustered. *G*

Fortunately, while I've interviewed a number of celebs, nobody yet I personally want to jump. So I've not had to worry about that reaction, LOL

Agreed, but for some reason it was quite popular for a time. The British morning show "Big Breakfast" also had a segment based around that. It wasn't meant to be serious, just random. *Shrug* :)

He carries it around in person too. Chris was in a hurry to leave DJ last year, signing things down the hallway, but he was gracious to us, and even helped stretch out my big poster to sign. He asked my name and spoke a few words to me (even though I was thinking *Dude, you'd better get going, your wife is not going to be happy - quit wasting time asking names!"). He was about six inches from my ear and has this lovely low voice.
