Series XI News Update (Spoilers)

Is there anyone who looks here for RD news as opposed to fic?  Genuine question; I'm not being snide.  In case there is, I'll link to today's article on TOS which includes two brand new promo pics of the Boyz in costume and an actual storyboard for one very brief scene in one ep, so mild spoiler warning.

Also, a few weeks ago, episode synopses for 5 of the 6 eps of XI were released.  Having seen one episode filmed, I have to say that whilst its summary is accurate, it doesn't give away the plot complexities.  The summaries are literally one sentence per episode.  But obviously, severe spoiler warning if you don't want to know anything before watching.

I know activity has been low, but I do watch for news and like having posts here as well as elsewhere, especially with Tumblr's interface being so awful for discussion.

On that note, I LOVE today's promo pic. Lister almost looks like Series V Lister and I'm getting serious 90s flashbacks. In a good way. :D

Rimmer's hair is ... odd? Lister's looks quite different than I'm used to. Not sure what to think of this one yet ...

Rimmer's hair in this pic actually reminds me of Chris's natural hair in "The End" plastered down with gel. It's not his best look but it's only one pic. As we can see with the difference in Kryten between the two pics, promo pics can be deceptive.

As for Lister, someone compared his hair here to a less severe version of his Series V haircut. I'm not sure about that but they're clearly going for a V aesthetic in the action pic and that's more than fine by me. :)

Yes, the hands are a bit odd. But hopefully they won't feature much.
