lady_draco mentioned a short while ago how there were no bunk scenes in V or VI, because the actors weren't getting along. Something about that just struck me as very sad.
Spoliers for Psirens, Legion, Emohawk... VI in general. A little IDW in there.

That hurts. That really hurts. Beautifully written.

I've noticed that the conversations they have in the bunk scenes are lot more like 'normal, between mates' conversations than any other and I genuinely feel that they would both fall apart if those conversations weren't there anymore.

Rimmer just breaks my heart, he really does.

Part of the delight of Rimmer is how complex he is. I alternately want to deck him and hug him. He's so messed up... but he's still a bastard... but we love him anyway... but, but, but. :p
