P.S. Thank you to everyone who gave me costume ideas for Rimmer. I thought of the one that ended up in the fic about five minutes after I made the post requesting ideas, but I wasn't sure what I was actually going to use until I finally got around to writing.

I have to be honest with you; your Lister is quite far from how I see him. But that's OK - variety is part of what makes fanfic good. Despite that, I enjoyed this a lot!

I was pleased with the NeoPagWiccans. I figured if there were Seventh Day Hoppists, then there would be other weird religions as well.

This particular spin on Lister is not my usual sort of Lister (at least, I don't think so). This series is definitely the one where everyone is OOC, which is why it surprises me that it went on so long, because I don't really like writing people OOC. And I felt that Holly's personality changes when she had a body were awfully contrived because, even though it would be a huge, HUGE thing to be able to do everything that she couldn't when she was just a face on a screen, I felt like she'd turned into a right tart.

*breathes* Still, it's over now, I can get on with something sensible.

I wanted the series to end with Rimmer/Lister because, in my mind at least, it had been tending that way even before they shagged in Christmas Spirits. I would've made it more explicit, but the point I was trying to make was that Rimmer had had the porn-movie sex with Holly and Kris, and it really wasn't what he was looking for in the end.

My sole remaining RD WIP is a Lister-centric fic, and I'm hoping to keep that as close to canon as I can (except for the part where Rimmer's sister shows up, but that's just tough cookies). It may not be Rimmer/ Lister, but it will be better than this whole series -- I hope.

I was trying to think of something to dress Rimmer as so he wouldn't be immediately recognisable, and about five seconds after I made a post here asking for suggestions, I thought of Westley all on my own. I'm very pleased with the reaction.
