The Great Unnamed Red Dwarf Fik

I've decided to flash the first chapter of my Red Dwarf fik (which has no name) because i keep saying i'm writing it and by now everyone will have stopped believing me. =P

Concrit is more than welcome--I can't seem to really get ahold of the chars so the story might be a bit off balance. Any help would...help.

So:

Name: The Great Unnamed Red Dwarf Fik
By: [livejournal.com profile] shivvlan
Length: ...too long. Make sure you have time.
Pairing: None as yet. Eventually Rimmer/Lister (if they agree--bloody chars)
Summary: The universe is a big, big place. Sometimes you get lost in it.

Wonderful story. I'm glad you decided to post what you had. I think you got Rimmer very well, and you managed to balance the angst with the humor nicely.
Just one wee thing: you seem to be undecided on wheter Holy is male or female. It's deffinetly a she in the begining and then somewhere along the line.....
Go on and write the rest of it then, I'll be waiting. Eagerly. If they refuse to behave, just beat them into submission.

Oh, and Rimmer as a God? What a disturbing (yet strangely appealing) idea!
Lister as his Holy sidekick? Marvelous!

This rocks. Rimmer the god is hilarious, especially with Lister the Holy Companion. If you can't make them agree to fall in love, force them to do it. ;) They're in character, so don't worry about that.

More?

This is an amazing piece! I can't wait until this fic is completely finished. The characterizations were spot on! Loved it!

*snort* Poor Rimmer, the accidental serial killer, indeed!

I am still reading this, because I have been up to my wazoo this week in less-fun things. But the writing is great, and the characterization of Rimmer is just fantastic. I have a few little niggly things of a nitpicky grammar and spelling nature and one little canon quibble to send along when I'm done, only if you want them, of course, but it's a delightful piece (and unless you suddenly change it halfway, it's going to keep that way).
