The Great Unnamed Red Dwarf Fik

I've decided to flash the first chapter of my Red Dwarf fik (which has no name) because i keep saying i'm writing it and by now everyone will have stopped believing me. =P

Concrit is more than welcome--I can't seem to really get ahold of the chars so the story might be a bit off balance. Any help would...help.

So:

Name: The Great Unnamed Red Dwarf Fik

Length: ...too long. Make sure you have time.
Pairing: None as yet. Eventually Rimmer/Lister (if they agree--bloody chars)
Summary: The universe is a big, big place. Sometimes you get lost in it.

I am still reading this, because I have been up to my wazoo this week in less-fun things. But the writing is great, and the characterization of Rimmer is just fantastic. I have a few little niggly things of a nitpicky grammar and spelling nature and one little canon quibble to send along when I'm done, only if you want them, of course, but it's a delightful piece (and unless you suddenly change it halfway, it's going to keep that way).

Yes, I do want the quibbles when you're done. And yes, i also know that my continuancy is a bit stuffed up. I mean to be writing season 3 chars, in seas on 5, with stuff from the books.
