I was abused by an extended family member when I was little, and did the counseling thing and all later in life, but it still doesn't squick me in general. Maybe that is sick and wrong. *spreads hands helplessly*

I think, though, that at least on a fandom level, m/m or f/f incest is more acceptable than m/f, and I think it's because you don't get deformed babies out of slash or femmeslash (although I also think that it's probably been written somewhere).

I don't seek it out or make it a point to write it, though - I just don't have a problem with reading it as long as it's goodfic. And I realy don't have any lingering issues with the event itself.

I quite agree, although consenting adult m/f incest-ers could also certainly make the rational choice to not procreate.
