Hi guys! Newbie here - after months and months of my dad saying I should check out "this really funny show we used to watch when you were little," I finally sat down and watched the Red Dwarf pilot. Three weeks later, I've watched every single episode and am now working my way through the commentary! *grin* I definitely owe my dad cookies or something.

Anyway, thought I'd post a drawing I did featuring Lister and Rimmer. Rated G, only mildly slashy.

Ahhahaaha, pretty darn cute. Reminds me of this icon of another lovable old British scifi show. XD

Personally I think I'd've made Lister a bit darker, since right now he looks as pale as Rimmer, but it's massively cute. You've captured Rimmer's scowl quite well. XD

Oh yes, if you're coloring it with pencils or something, it makes sense to leave Lister lighter so you can shade him with a colored pencil. Hope you'll post the results of that when you finish.

And the icon does match quite well, save for the fact that Lister is the one you'd EXPECT to be giving bunny ears, but the one in my icon who is giving the ears is the more Rimmer-y one giving them to the more Lister-y one. But I think that just makes it funnier.

B7 is a great show. It's about as dark as Red Dwarf is comedic, but well worth watching. You should check out [livejournal.com profile] b7rewatch as they've started a community rewatch and are only half way through S1, so you could probably catch up quickly if you wanted.

Oh, nice work! Nice job on Rimmer's hair and Lister's dreadlocks :d and most especially on Rimmer's expression. Love the eyebrow.

That is adorable.
I agree with van there, that Lister should look a little darker, but otherwise you've captured their personalities in their expressions so well.
You have a very unique art style that works well. Good job.
