Aside from the Mary Sues, what are you guilty of when it comes to RD fic?

I am guilty of always, ALWAYS referring to Rimmer's hair as 'unruly'. Also of waffling on at length about his eye colour.

I am guilty of going to extreme lengths to write some of the most ridiculous pairings ever.

I am guilty of leaving everyone hanging many times when I was writing Floor 13 because I was such a flake about sitting down and actually writing chapters despite nagging the crap out of everyone to help me with chapter titles.

Edit: I'm guilty of editing the comm sidebar to include a link to the second anonymous kinks meme, but that's the fun sort of guilt.

I'm guilty of starting to write half a dozen AU drabbles that branched off from one story I wrote about Rimmer recalling a dimension he visited as Ace (and not posting them).

I'm guilty of coming up with more and more complex ways holo-Rimmer got back to the Dwarf and not incorporating them into a story.
