Bingo. I wrote that when I was really tired, in all earnestness without a trace of humour, then looked back at it the next day and went 'What the hell???' but it made me laugh so much I couldn't take it out.

This is such a wicked but enticing cliffhanger. I hope the culprit doesn't turn out to be who I suspect it could be.

I know you were considering a sequel before I wrote "Trouble In Paradise", but I'm delighted at how it's fed into this. Vero also deserves credit for having the idea of porn star Howard to start with. :)

I've seen those machines ... it's basically a dildo on the end of a long rod and a motor powers it to go back and forth while you balance or lie upon a padded thing.

I have a hypothesis about who arranged the cliffhanger incident (so as not to spoil others) and why - and how they did it - but I don't want to say in case it ruins the next chapter. :-)

I have one too (maybe the same) but I'm actually hoping it turns out to be the surface explanation because the slightly less obvious one would be pretty unforgivable. :o
