There is so much slash potential between Ace & Lister, and when I say Ace, I mean the Ace that is a part of Rimmer. It seems like from a slasher's POV, all those cracks Rimmer makes in "Dimension Jump" about Lister/Ace is like him wanting to drop frustrated hints or something.

Aye, you're right. Rimmer comes across as a very jealous little man in that episode. Seems appropriate that he's wearing green.

And - jebus tapdancing christ, I don't think you could write anything more blatantly jealous than Dimension Jump! Rimmer spends the whole time sniping at Ace - and not just plain sniping, but very specifically sniping at the attraction (in his jealous little mind) between Lister and Ace. Yeah, we all know that he was the one who wanted to be playing Spot The Submarine with Lister... :D

I keep picturing in the end when Ace tells Lister that he's leaving that Rimmer has feelings for Lister. The plot bunnies keep chewing at my grey matter.
