A little late to the party...

Wahey! Aliens-make-them-do-it fic, in a typically bizarre Red Dwarf scenario. *hearts*

As always, the characterisation is wonderful and the premise is great. ;)

A couple of nitpicky things:
There's a 'loosing' instead of a 'losing' in Loosing his balance somewhat, he clung to the nearest thing at hand, which happened to be Rimmer.
And a 'the' instead of a 'they'? The didn’t, of course, but he had to do something to keep Rimmer from going into hysterics.

Now that's over with:
Rimmer stood, tapping his foot, waiting for a sentence to follow the ‘Well.’ A pause meandered up, shagged, sat there pregnant, delivered a little pause, and fled. - this and all its follow-ups, all the other tarty little pauses, this is genius!

“I'm just saying, I'd think kissing me'd be better than instant death, yeah? I'm not that repulsive, am I?” Lister couldn’t help the insecurity from seeping into his voice. He hated feeling like that, and with Rimmer! It was intolerable. But he just couldn’t help it. He was the king of chat up, the prince of charm, the fascist dictator of pulling, so long as he didn’t actually care about the people he was making a move on. And he did care about the smeghead. That was the trouble. It made him feel like he was a short, fat, ugly goit, and not the suave master of seduction he normally knew himself to be. Awww...

Man, he hadn’t seen one of them since he was a one of those short things that you had to be for a while until you got to be big and handsome. Kid. That was it. A kid. :) :) :)

The blighter really couldn’t see beyond his own penis, could he? God, he thought, paranoia flaring up irrationally; was it that large? *laughs out loud*

Ahem, yes... I wonder who wrote that sentence? I always, always get that wrong. It feels like there should be two "o"'s there, dammit! English language, are you listening? Change! lol...

I think we got into a bit of a contest with the pregnant pauses; how silly can we make this? It was great - roadstergal started it with that one there. I believe my original note just said "pregnant pause".

Ja, as Kahvi said, the pause thing just got out of hand - I wondered how on earth pauses got pregnant in the first place, and then she ran with it. ;)

The fascist dictator of pulling bit made me swallow something the wrong way when I read it. :) And kahvi did Cat for this one - just cracked me up.
