I still can't get over that bit of hands-on-hips commentary from VI. Actually, they were more under Lister's armpits than on his hips...

Yes, I was thinking too first time I heard it, that the next time Rimmers hands were near anyones hips, it was Listers. That must have been what Chris was referring to when he said not yet, or?
BTW, when Craig is referring to the on-screen kiss when they look at Rimmers package - is it me or is his voice dropping a bit ;-)

Ja - I mean, there's no other fondling that he does after he becomes hard-light! There's nothing else that he could be referring to. (I wrote that Psirens fic because everyone else gets a tailored psiren-image - the brunettes for Cat, Kochanski for Lister, Kryten's creator for Kryten - and just what would they have made - or did they make - for Rimmer, hmm?)

But that underwear comment obviously for fun and he lowers the voice to enhance the joke. The reference to the kiss is just a commentary to the scene happening, and the lowering of tone is not that obvious, but I swear his voice goes positively sultry, and my oh my does his voice sound lovely like that ::swoooon:: And Chris answering, his voice is always great, of course ::swooning more::

I think it's a theme, though, that his voice lowers when he's being sultry - whether he means it or not. ;)
