*Clears throat* Ahem...Feel a bit silly about this but would like to tell anyone who's interested that my fic Love & Jealousy which was given up for dead the best part of two years ago has been revitalised.  The 17-part sequel to Love & Friendship is finished and available in the files section of the Yahoo RDSS.  If anyone cannot view the files there then I will post here on request (she says optimistically)...

I've just started reading it on the yahoo group.

So far it's really good. I like that its exploring Lister's desire for normalcy in the face of all the weirdness he's been through.

You have my vote for putting it up here, for what it's worth.

And I know all about the embarrassment. 0_0 I did pretty much the same thing too. (1 year hiatus.)

Should I start with Love & Friendship and post the whole series chapter by chapter or should I start with Love & Jealousy and simply give a summary of what happened in fic 1? I don't mind either way but as both are fairly long fics I don't want to swamp the site! Ideas anyone?

I'd go for broke. If you haven't posted it on LJ already, post the whole thing here because--unless you have it up on a site--no one will be able to access it. If you've already posted it on LJ maybe having a post with a link to all your previous posted chapters would be a good idea? (I'm not a mod here so don't quote me.)

Although I would suggest combining some of your chapters into one because they are fairly short. That might help your feelings of 'swamping' the site.

BTW, if you're interested I have concrit on your work. I like the complete absence of weirdness v. much.

Sorry for taking so long! (Got swamped by life.)

I was thinking, as I read the final few chapters, that Lister was acting a bit too much like a woman. The scene where he gets p'od at Rimmer and locks himself in their quarters twigged 'female' for me. I think Lister would be more likely to confront someone who was infuriating him rather then running away from them.

Otherwise it was good. :)

Just finished reading it over at Yahoo. Thanks for finishing it, I loved that series and I was a little upset to find it run to a stop!
