As I have only recently conquered the interweb, I have no idea how to form these link things that go to separate pages. I minor setback..... Anyway, click my name and go read my Rimmer/Lister fic 'Voyage to Trip Out City'. It is the product of reading too many psychology books into the night. Despair not, I am a benevolent dictator. You know, i was just thinking that Craig Charles and Chris Barrie knew they had fangurls with all the stuff they do and things...
Then it suddenly occured to me that they didn't just know they had fangurls; they were playing for them(us >_>) and judging by the antics in smeg ups and the commentries etc. we're the fans they play for the most. o_O
I can't figure out if it's because they secretly want to bonk each other and playing for the fans gives them a way to bring it all out; or if we're the only actual fans they have/see. My brain will hurt for the rest of the day as I try to figure it out.

Are they secretly in love, or do fangurls cover 98% of the fandom?

For those of you who are following the Taking Liberties series (that's the one with the Holly/Kochanski/Rimmer and the bit of Lister/Rimmer in it), I've decided to wind it up with one last fic, a Halloween story. There will be a masquerade ball and some other seasonal goodies.

What I would like input on is what costume Rimmer should wear. I'm trying to think of something that would make him reasonably unrecognisable, but not something like a gorilla suit -- I want him to be a little more recognisable than that! Holly and Kochanski will be dressing as an angel and a devil, but Rimmer's costume doesn't have to tie in with that theme.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
