and would hear the name - oishmegheid, oishmegheid - rising to the sky above.....
"For the love of all that is good and holy, will you goited, gerbil-faced twonkers smegging shut up!"
*falls of the chair laughing*
The tiny marks were unreal. All exactly the same length, in a line like a row of planted chewing-roots, but much more tidy
Mmmm, that's kindda sacry. But it's Rimmer alright.
"I should warn you. I shink I'm... just a little... drunk."
Oh, the cuteness!
No, Lister had never said anything vaguely like 'lovely' about him. Odd, what that randomization program would stick in.
He is just too adorable. *hugs him*
Her voice was a deep mezzo, flirting with alto and having secret affairs with tenor and baritone
What a lovely line.
*looks up* I seem to have run on again.
Poor, sweet, silly Rimmer, nothing ever goes right for him does it?
I like the Lister clones. Very interesting civilazation they got. I love how even the planet seems to be fitted to Lister-likeness. Blessed leaf, huh?

Yes, he is rather adorable, isn't he? But let me tell you, it doesn't always seem that way when you're trying to get him to do something. ;)
The randomization program thing just killed me. I mean, I knew he would jump to the wrong conclusion, but... *sigh*
The voice-line was mine - thank you!
Oh, just wait until you see the effects of blessed leaf... ;)

Glad you like! :)

Date: 2006-07-17 07:57 pm (UTC)Well, apart from enjoy the Lister-lookalikes in various extremely erotic ways ;)
That was brilliant! I was snorting and giggling the whole way through, even though my heartstrings have been tugged. I'll be crouched over my ;laptop waiting to spring on the next installment.

Date: 2006-07-18 04:38 am (UTC)I always look forward to your gestalt fic, and this certainly doesn't disappoint. The Lister clones are perfect, especially their lack of Rimmer's idea of evolution, and Rimmer is so, so adorable when he's comparing Ilse to Lister.
Her voice was a deep mezzo, flirting with alto and having secret affairs with tenor and baritone.
Adding to the love for this line.

Date: 2006-07-18 06:59 am (UTC)Well, I think it makes sense; Rimmer and Lister are so different in every way. Clearly Lister's clones would never be able to bring forth anything Rimmer would deem worthwile... Or at least not anything he would admit was worthwhile.
Heee - thanks for the line-love! I was worried it was a bit over-done, actually, so I'm glad people like it. :)
Hooray, feedback!

"For the love of all that is good and holy, will you goited, gerbil-faced twonkers smegging shut up!"
Gyahahaha! Rimmer the holy one is always adorable/laugh-worthy.
She'd been taught from childhood to obey her curiosity, and this time her reward was more than abundant, as she ended up nearly bumping noses with the Watcher himself
Lister-society that worships Rimmer. I'm now very worried about their bible-equivalents...
The Watcher noted her unease. "Whon't bite." What was wrong with his voice? Ilse giggled.
It's his first visitor in ages, and he gets drunk almost immediately. Why am I not surprised? :)
"You'll get him back," she said, with a soft whisper, moving her hand down to stroke his cheek. If he could make himself intangible, surely he could do anything. Didn't he have any faith in himself at all?
I'm torn between wanting Rimmer to throw her out, and wanting Rimmer to stay and try to get his life back. I like Ilse. She's definately a descendant of Lister, but then again she is her own person.
I like this. The ending isn't good, but there's three parts left to read. *runs off*

Date: 2006-07-20 11:10 pm (UTC)Ilse was fun to work with. I hope I didn't Mary Sue her up too much, though it's really hard when I've got a Lister-like character that's female!
Glad you've enjoyed it so far - thanks for snazzy comments!

Date: 2006-07-20 11:16 pm (UTC)I've got two more reviews to do, and Rimmer running off in the third part isn't helping. *goes back to reading*

Ah, his life is long gone. And it's a good riddance, too, I think. :p
Danke! :D
